Moong Market Continues to Decline, Weak Demand Increases Pressure
Moong prices continued to decline this week. Ample availability in producing markets and weak demand prevented any significant market strength. According to market analysts, sluggish demand for moong dal resulted in slow buying by dal millers. This slowed the pace of purchases, putting continued pressure on prices. Experts say that if demand does not improve in the coming days and arrivals remain high in the markets, moong prices may see further declines. However, there is a possibility of market stability and price improvement as buying increases. Due to weak buying by dal millers, Delhi moong prices declined by Rs. 200 per quintal during the current week, bringing the Rajasthan price down to Rs. 5000/7600 per quintal.
