Mozambique Customs Authority Cancels Previous Order, Grants Permission for Pigeon Pea Exports
★ The Mozambique Tax Authority, through its General Directorate of Customs, today issued memorandum number 64/AT/DGA/DNPA/410/2025, announcing that the export of pigeon peas has been authorized with immediate effect.
★ Exporting companies must present a certificate issued by the Ministry of Economy in their export documents, confirming that the new sectoral supervision of ICMP.JP now falls under this Ministry.
★ All companies holding a Certificate of Origin issued by ICM, IP and operating under the Ministry of Economy will be allowed to export without any quantity restrictions.
★ Authorized companies listed under List 1, which obtained their Certificate of Origin from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce by October 2025, will also be recognized.
★ Memorandum number 687/AT/DGA/DNPA/410/2025, dated August 5, 2025, is now rendered invalid.
