The USDA will not be publishing its weekly Export Sales report on Thursday due to the ongoing government shutdown. However, traders estimate that between 350,000 and 650,000 metric tons of wheat were sold during the week ending October 16.
Algeria purchased an estimated 500,000 to 600,000 metric tons of wheat in its tender on Wednesday, with expected origins from the Black Sea region or Argentina.
