Soybean plant delivery prices improve due to improved demand

New Delhi. After remaining weak for two weeks, soybean plant delivery prices finally improved by ₹100-₹200 per quintal during the week of February 28-March 6, 2026. This brought some relief to farmers.
Soy Plant
During the week under review, soybean plant delivery prices reached ₹5300-₹5500 per quintal in Madhya Pradesh, ₹5500-₹5700 per quintal in Maharashtra, and ₹5300-₹5800 per quintal in Rajasthan. Please note that this is the plant delivery price of soybean, not the loose price.
Soybean Oil (Refined)
Due to the increase in soybean prices, the price of refined soybean oil also improved by up to ₹4 per kg. Prices increased by ₹15-₹40 per 10 kg in many plants in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Kota
The price increased by Rs. 10 in Kota to Rs. 1390 per 10 kg, by Rs. 10 in Mumbai to Rs. 1350 per 10 kg, by Rs. 5 in Kandla to Rs. 1345 per 10 kg, and by Rs. 25 in Haldia to Rs. 1365 per 10 kg.
Soy DOC
Demand for soy DOC remained strong, allowing many plants in Maharashtra to increase its selling price by Rs. 1500-2000 per tonne. Consequently, the price of soy DOC in Maharashtra improved to between Rs. 40,000-44,000 per tonne.
