वायदा बाजार शुरू हो या नहीं: दो खेमों की अलग अलग राय

★सरकार कृषि जिंसों में फ्यूचर्स ट्रेडिंग दोबारा शुरू करने पर अभी भी बंटी हुई है, जबकि 31 मार्च की समयसीमा करीब है।

★एक ओर इसे कीमतों के संकेत और जोखिम हेजिंग का अहम जरिया माना जा रहा है, वहीं दूसरी ओर इसके जरिए कीमतों में स्थिरता लाने के ठोस प्रमाण नहीं मिले हैं। कुछ अधिकारियों का मानना है कि यह बाजार वास्तविक आपूर्ति से अलग हो सकता है।

★मौजूदा समय में कृषि जिंसों की कीमतें सामान्य बनी हुई हैं, जिससे नीति पर दबाव कम है। साथ ही वैश्विक अनिश्चितताओं और कम ट्रेडिंग वॉल्यूम की आशंका भी चिंता का कारण है।

★ऐसे में नीतिगत जड़ता के चलते फिलहाल प्रतिबंध जारी रहने की संभावना ज्यादा मानी जा रही है, हालांकि अंतिम फैसला इस सप्ताह लिया जा सकता है।

★The government remains divided on restarting futures trading in agricultural commodities as the March 31 deadline approaches.

★While some officials see futures markets as useful for price discovery and risk hedging, others argue there is no clear evidence that they help stabilise prices and warn that trading can get disconnected from physical supply.

★With agri prices currently stable and global uncertainties persisting, there is little policy pressure to reopen trading. Concerns over low participation if resumed also remain.

★As a result, policy inertia favours extending the ban, though a final decision is expected within the week.
