The Chief Minister said that the area under mustard cultivation in the state has recorded a significant 28% increase compared to last year.

According to preliminary estimates, mustard production is expected to reach 1.571 million tonnes (15.71 lakh metric tonnes).

In this context, it has been decided that mustard procurement will also be carried out under the rules and eligibility criteria of the Bhavantar Yojana.
