Government Procurement of Wheat Begins in MP, Rajasthan, and UP
New Delhi – The Food Corporation of India (FCI), in collaboration with state agencies, has begun wheat procurement in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. As of March 22, 2025, total wheat procurement reached 52,197 tonnes, a significant increase from 4,305 tonnes during the same period last year.

Rajasthan: ₹125 per quintal → Effective price: ₹2,550 per quintal ✅
Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar: Only MSP ₹2,425 per quintal
