The Haryana government has finalised the procurement schedule for rabi crops for the Rabi Marketing Season 2026–27.

In the previous season 2024–25, around 8.12 lakh tons of mustard were procured in Haryana.

Farmers have expressed concern over the start of mustard procurement from March 28. Arrivals in mandis have already increased, but private traders are currently dominating purchases. In several markets, mustard is reportedly being bought up to ₹800 per quintal below the MSP.

Farmers have urged the government to start procurement immediately to prevent distress sales.
