ICE cotton futures closed 4 to 73 points higher on Monday. The U.S. Dollar Index rose by 0.388 to 100.370, while crude oil futures gained $5.36 to close at $105.00 per barrel.
The March Planting Intentions report, based on a Reuters analyst survey, is expected to show cotton acreage at around 9.229 million acres, slightly below last year.
The Seam platform reported sales of 5,391 bales on March 27 at an average price of 67.79 cents per pound.
The Cotlook A Index increased by 125 points on March 27 to 80.10 cents per pound.
ICE certified cotton stocks remained unchanged on Friday, with total certified stocks at 114,665 bales.
The Adjusted World Price (AWP) was raised by 25 points last Thursday to 54.47 cents per pound.
