ICE cotton futures posted gains of 61 points in the nearby contracts at Wednesday’s close. Crude oil futures declined by 6 cents per barrel to $65.57, while the US Dollar Index fell by 0.170 to 97.600.
The Seam reported sales of 25,330 bales on February 24 at an average price of 61.69 cents per pound.
The Cotlook A Index declined by 20 points on Tuesday to 75.55 cents per pound.
ICE certified cotton stocks were steady at 119,457 bales on February 24.
The Adjusted World Price (AWP) increased by 66 points last Thursday to 50.05 cents per pound.
