★ According to the NASS report, the U.S. winter wheat crop reached 87% progress by March 31.
★ About 26% of the winter wheat crop is rated in good condition. Meanwhile, spring wheat planting has reached 94% completion.
★ In the week ending May 28, the United States recorded 402,000 metric tons of wheat export inspections. Major buyers included:
Mexico: 95,000 tons
South Korea: 85,000 tons
Philippines: 71,000 tons
★ During the current marketing season, total U.S. wheat exports reached approximately 24 million metric tons by May 28, which is 9.3% higher than the corresponding period last year.
