News Capsule: Soybean International Market
★ Soybean export shipments from the United States reached 0.57 million tonnes during the week ending May 21, slightly higher than the previous week and nearly double compared to the same period last year. China purchased the highest quantity at 0.137 million tonnes, followed by Egypt with 0.11 million tonnes and Mexico with 0.075 million tonnes.
★ Total soybean exports in the current season have so far reached 35.135 million tonnes, which is 21% higher compared to last year.
★ According to the NASS report, soybean sowing in the United States had reached 79% as of May 24, while 49% of the crop had germinated.

Domestic Soybean Market
★ Soybean prices have increased by around ₹900–1100 per quintal since last month. At these levels, the market is now stable, although some light profit-booking has also been observed.
★ According to iGrain India, the market may remain stable at current price levels. Further upside in prices is expected if demand improves.
