NCCF Targets Increasing Business to ₹17,000 Crore in the Current Fiscal Year

New Delhi: The National Cooperative Consumers' Federation (NCCF), an agency under the Central Government, has set a target to increase its business turnover by 24 percent to ₹17,000 crore during the 2026-27 fiscal year (April-March). To achieve this, the agency has planned to expand the scope of procurement for various agricultural products and enhance the scale of private trade operations under the Price Support Scheme (PSS).

The agency's business turnover stood at ₹13,908 crore in the 2025-26 fiscal year, and it is projected to rise by over 24 percent to reach ₹17,200 crore in 2026-27. The Federation's Managing Director stated that there has been a significant increase in the procurement of agricultural products over the past two years, and efforts to further boost procurement volumes will continue.

Additionally, the process of procuring and selling commodities in the private sector will be maintained. It is expected that approximately 40 percent of the agency's revenue over the next five years will be generated through this channel, while the agency will also continue to play a key role in government-led procurement of pulses, oilseeds, onions, and other commodities. Currently, the agency contributes 35 percent to this procurement.
