Monsoon Situation in Madhya Pradesh: Significant Rainfall Variations from June to August 2025
★ Districts with severely deficient rainfall include Ujjain (-47%), Dewas (-49%), Indore (-46%), Shajapur (-41%), Khargone (-34%), and Burhanpur (-27%).
Districts with normal rainfall:
★ Rainfall remained normal in Dhar, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Harda, Betul, Chhindwara, Balaghat, and others.

Districts with above-normal rainfall:
★ Districts in eastern and northeastern Madhya Pradesh, including Bhopal, Raisen, Sehore, Hoshangabad, Vidisha, Sagar, Jabalpur, Satna, Rewa, Shahdol, Singrauli, and Balaghat, witnessed above-normal rainfall.

Districts with excessive rainfall:
★ Gwalior (+175%), Shivpuri (+171%), and Sheopur (+179%) recorded exceptionally high rainfall.
★ Heavy rainfall in Bhopal and Bundelkhand divisions caused damage to Kharif crops.
★ Western and southwestern districts witnessed severe rainfall deficiency, whereas eastern and northern regions received good rainfall.
