★ Recently, the U.S. had signed deals to import 150,000 tons of soybean oil from China, but once Argentina lowered prices, those deals started being canceled.
★ Under the SAFTA agreement, Nepal is also exporting edible oils to India.
★ From October 2024 to July 2025, Nepal exported 520,000 tons of oils to India, of which 403,000 tons were soybean oil.
