International Soybean Market
According to Tuesday afternoon’s Crop Progress report, 76% of soybean planting was completed by Sunday, faster than the average of 68%, but slightly below trade expectations of 77%. Among the 18 major states, only: Kentucky (-5%), Mississippi (-7%), Ohio (-10%) were behind their 5-year averages.
50% of the crop has emerged, ahead of the average 40%. Crop condition ratings are expected next Monday.
Scattered rain is forecast in the upcoming week, with heavier rainfall likely in southern parts of the Eastern Corn Belt and some areas of the Plains.
Due to Monday’s holiday, export sales data will be released Friday morning.
