According to EIA data released this morning, ethanol production for the week ended January 23 declined by 5,000 barrels per day to 1.114 million barrels per day. Ethanol stocks fell by 339,000 barrels to 25.4 million barrels. During the same week, ethanol exports declined by 61,000 barrels per day to 157,000 barrels per day, while refinery inputs of ethanol increased by 31,000 barrels per day to 883,000 barrels per day.

Export Sales data will be released on Thursday. For the week ended January 22, corn sales for the 2025/26 season are expected to be in the range of 1.0 to 2.5 million metric tonnes, while sales for the 2026/27 season are estimated between 0 and 0.2 million metric tonnes.
