Traders estimate that corn bookings for the week ending October 9 were between 0.9 and 2 million metric tons.

Taiwan purchased 65,000 metric tons of corn from the U.S. in its tender on Wednesday. Two separate South Korean importers bought a total of 269,000 metric tons of corn through private tenders, though the official origins of these deals were not disclosed.
