Pulse Production in Black Sea Countries – 2025/26 Season
Russia
★ Russia’s pulse production this year is estimated to reach 6.8 million tons, exceeding the 2023 record of 5.9 million tons.
★ Kabuli chickpea production is expected to reach around 700,000 tons, with good quality.
★ Pea production is estimated between 4.7 and 5.2 million tons, mainly consisting of yellow peas, with quality remaining good despite weather challenges.
