Cold Conditions May Intensify Due to Snowfall in Hilly Regions: IMD
★ According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), snowfall is likely from Saturday in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh, which may lead to an increase in cold conditions across the plains.
★ In addition, light बारिश is reported in some parts of Rajasthan on Sunday.
★ On Saturday, fog may prevail in Punjab, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
★ A drop in temperatures has also been reported in Gujarat.
★ So far, this weather has not had a major impact on rabi crops, as crops are still in the growth stage. The weather is favorable for wheat but not suitable for mustard.
