Wheat prices expected to remain strong

It seems like wheat prices are staying high due to a combination of low stock, limited supply, and high demand, even with the government’s attempts to ease the pressure through increased sales under the Open Market Sale Scheme.

The expected higher wheat production, with a larger area under cultivation, could help ease the market once the new crop arrives, but it doesn’t look like there will be a significant price drop until then.

The government's focus on procurement in major wheat-producing states, and especially the bonus offerings in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, shows they are trying to ensure farmers are incentivized to sell to the government and secure food supplies for the nation.

However, the situation in states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar could remain a bit volatile, depending on how things unfold there.

It’ll be interesting to see how the supply-demand balance plays out in the coming months, particularly as new crops start hitting the market. How do you think the market will adjust once the new harvest begins to arrive?
