Small cardamom price depends on demand during Ramzan

It seems like the price of small cardamom is being influenced by a combination of factors: a drop in production due to weather conditions, delayed harvesting, and strong demand in the Gulf region, especially during Ramzan.
Given that the Gulf is a major market for Indian cardamom, demand during Ramzan could play a significant role in whether prices rise or stabilize in the coming months.
Despite the weak crop in Guatemala, which is a key cardamom producer, India is able to maintain its competitive edge in the market.
The relatively strong performance of Indian exports in the first half of the financial year also seems to suggest a stable outlook, despite the challenges in production.
In the short term, it looks like the supply situation will start improving once harvesting in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka slows down, which could help moderate prices.
It’ll be interesting to see how the demand during Ramzan ultimately influences price trends. Do you think the demand will be strong enough to push prices even higher this year, or will supply catch up in time?
