कजाखस्तान- 2026 में मसूर उत्पादन घटने की उम्मीद
कजाखस्तान ने फिर से लाल मसूर निर्यातक देशों में अपनी मजबूत वापसी करते हुए वैश्विक स्तर पर छठा स्थान हासिल कर लिया है। 2020 में उत्पादन केवल 44,000 टन तक गिर गया था, लेकिन बाद में उत्पादन तेजी से बढ़कर लाल व हरी मसूर मिलाकर 8.42 लाख टन तक पहुंच गया।
हालांकि, वैश्विक बाजार में पर्याप्त आपूर्ति और गेहूं की बेहतर कीमतों के कारण 2026 सीजन में लाल मसूर का रकबा 15–20% तक घट सकता है। 2017 में कजाखस्तान का लाल मसूर उत्पादन 3.13 लाख टन के उच्च स्तर पर था, लेकिन बाजार आकर्षण घटने से किसानों ने अनाज फसलों की ओर रुख किया और 2020 में उत्पादन न्यूनतम स्तर पर पहुंच गया।
किसान अब मटर और चना जैसी अन्य दलहनी फसलों की ओर भी रकबा बढ़ा सकते हैं। तुर्की कजाखस्तान की लगभग 85% मसूर खरीदता है, इसलिए आगे के बाजार रुझान में उसकी भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण रहेगी।
आने वाले महीनों में बुवाई के आंकड़ों से वास्तविक स्थिति स्पष्ट होगी।

Kazakhstan has re-established itself as a strong red lentil exporter, regaining sixth place globally. Production had fallen sharply to just 44,000 tonnes in 2020 but later rebounded significantly, reaching a combined 842,000 tonnes of red and green lentils.
However, due to ample global supplies and stronger price returns from wheat, red lentil acreage in the 2026 season is expected to decline by around 15–20%. Kazakhstan’s red lentil production had previously reached a peak of 313,000 tonnes in 2017, but reduced market attractiveness prompted farmers to shift toward cereal crops, pushing production to its lowest level in 2020.
Farmers are now likely to diversify into other pulses such as peas and chickpeas to maintain profitability. Türkiye purchases nearly 85% of Kazakhstan’s lentils, making its demand crucial for future market direction.
The actual outlook will become clearer in the coming months as planting intentions emerge.
