USDA’s Export Sales report, scheduled for Thursday morning, is expected to show 2026/27 wheat export sales between 250,000 and 600,000 MT for the week ending July 2.
Friday’s Crop Production report is expected to estimate total U.S. wheat production at 1.527 billion bushels, down 17 million bushels from last month.
Winter wheat production is projected at 1.004 billion bushels, down 26 million bushels from the previous estimate, while spring wheat production is expected at 458 million bushels.
SovEcon has lowered its 2026/27 Russian wheat production estimate by 0.2 MMT to 46.5 MMT, slightly above last year's estimate of 46.2 MMT.
