USDA confirmed a private export sale of 472,000 MT of soybeans to China, including 136,000 MT for the 2025/26 marketing year and 336,000 MT for 2026/27.
USDA’s Export Sales report, due Thursday, is expected to show 2025/26 soybean export sales between 50,000 and 500,000 MT, while 2026/27 sales are estimated between 150,000 and 500,000 MT.
Soybean meal sales are expected in the range of 250,000 to 600,000 MT, while soybean oil sales are forecast between net reductions of 5,000 MT and net sales of 10,000 MT.
NOAA’s 7-day forecast indicates 1 to 2 inches of rainfall across areas south of Interstate 80, including much of Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, and southern Illinois. Eastern Nebraska, western Iowa, and central Wisconsin are expected to receive around 1 inch of rainfall.
Friday’s WASDE report is expected to show old-crop soybean ending stocks down by 3 million bushels to 337 million bushels, while new-crop stocks are projected to increase by 22 million bushels due to higher production following expanded acreage reported in June.
