Urad Prices Rise in Brazil, Myanmar; Tuvar Prices Up in Tanzania, Mozambique

Mumbai. For exporters to India, the offer price of Urad in Brazil and Myanmar increased by 20-25 dollars per tonne on September 11 as compared to the week of September 4 and the offer price of Arhar (Tuvar) in African countries- Tanzania and Mozambique increased by 10-15 dollars per tonne, while the offer price of other pulses either remained stable or came down slightly in various exporting countries. This includes lentils, peas and Desi gram.
According to the data received, the export offer of Urad for September-October shipment to India increased by 25 dollars to 900 dollars per tonne in Brazil and improved by 20 dollars in Myanmar to reach 800 dollars per tonne for FAQ category and 880 dollars per tonne for SQ goods.
Export offer price of Desi Chana remained steady at $610 per tonne in Australia for September-October shipment to India but fell by $5 to $545 per tonne for October-November delivery.
Offer price of green lentil fell to $695 per tonne from $710 to $695 per tonne in Russia for September-October delivery and to $610 per tonne from $615 per tonne in Canada for October-November delivery.
As for Toor, its offer price rose to $515 per tonne from $500 to $515 per tonne in Tanzania for September-October delivery and improved to $530 per tonne from $520 to $530 per tonne in Mozambique for October-November delivery but fell by $10 to $690 per tonne in Myanmar for September-October shipment.
Offer price of Toor for October-November delivery in Malawi remained steady at the previous level of $500 per tonne. The offer price of red lentils for October-November shipments to India fell by $5 to $550 a tonne in Canada and by $20 to $540 a tonne in Australia.
The offer price of yellow split peas for delivery in the same month fell by $10 to $340 a tonne in Canada while remaining steady at $350 a tonne in Russia-Ukraine.
