Andhra Pradesh
Sowing has begun and is expected to continue until July 15.
Telangana
Sowing has also started, but farmers are waiting for the southwest monsoon to stabilize, which has slowed the pace of sowing.
Telangana contributes about 28.4% to India's total turmeric production, while Andhra Pradesh accounts for around 6.65%.
