सीजन 2024-25
★ बीते 2023-24 में विक्टोरिया में दिसंबर में हुई बारिश से फसलों को कुछ नुकसान पहुंचा था परन्तु उसके अलावा कुल मिलाकर पूरे सीजन भर मौसम फसल के अनुकूल रहा।
★ पश्चिमी दक्षिणी व विक्टोरिया क्षेत्र में जनवरी से मई तक मौसम बेहद शुष्क रहा। इन क्षेत्रों में लगभग सभी दलहनों की बिजाई बिना नमी वाले खेतों में की गयी। बिजाई 90% पहुंची, कुछ क्षेत्रों में मसूर अंकुरित भी हुई।
★ साउथ ऑस्ट्रेलिया व विक्टोरिया में बिजाई गत वर्ष से 10% अधिक।
★ जिन क्षेत्रों में मसूर बिजाई को प्राथमिकता नहीं दी जाती थी ऊंचे भावों के कारण वहां भी एरिया बढ़ा।
★ पश्चिमी और दक्षिणी ऑस्ट्रेलिया में पानी की सख्त जरुरत परन्तु विक्टोरिया में अभी हाल ही में हुई बारिश से नमी सही।
★ 2024 का उत्पादन पूरी तरह बारिश पर निर्भर।
★ बारिश सामान्य रही तो 13 लाख टन उत्पादन आ सकता है, मौसम प्रतिकूल रहा तो 16 लाख टन उत्पादन पहुंचने की उम्मीद।

Season 2024-25
★ In the last 2023-24, the rain in December in Victoria caused some damage to the crops, but apart from that, the weather remained favorable for the crop throughout the season.
★ The weather remained very dry from January to May in the Western South and Victoria region. In these areas, almost all pulses were sown in fields without moisture. Sowing reached 90%, in some areas lentils also germinated.
★ Sowing in South Australia and Victoria was 10% more than last year.
★ In areas where lentil sowing was not given priority, the area also increased due to high prices.
★ There is a dire need of water in Western and Southern Australia, but the recent rains in Victoria have provided the right amount of moisture.
★ The production of 2024 is completely dependent on rain.
★ If the rains are normal, then the production can be 13 lakh tonnes, if the weather is unfavorable, then the production is expected to reach 16 lakh tonnes.
