USDA reported a private export sale of 110,000 metric tons of corn to unknown destinations this morning. In addition, a sale of 306,000 metric tons of sorghum to unknown destinations was also reported.
EIA data will be released on Wednesday. Some market participants believe that ethanol production may see a slight decline in the week ended last Friday.
According to ANEC, Brazil’s corn exports for January are estimated at 3.39 million metric tons, down 0.06 million metric tons from last week’s estimate. If realized, this would be lower than the 3.59 million metric tons exported in the same month last year.
