★ Yesterday, the United States made export deals of 102,000 tons of corn to Mexico.
★ In the week ending March 19, the United States exported 1.7 million tons of corn. Out of this, Mexico purchased the highest volume at 483,000 tons, followed by Japan with 327,000 tons and Colombia with 180,000 tons.
★ In the current season, the United States has exported a total of about 45 million tons of corn so far, which is 38% higher than last year.
★ According to the AgRural agency, planting of Brazil’s second corn crop has reached 97%.
