ICE cotton futures closed Wednesday’s session with gains of 11 to 40 points. Crude oil fell by $0.94 per barrel to settle at $64.90. The US dollar index declined by 0.130 points to 96.805.
The Seam reported sales of 10,876 bales on February 10 at an average price of 57.48 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index rose by 75 points on Tuesday to 73.30 cents per pound. ICE certified cotton stocks increased by 3,938 bales on February 10, bringing total certified stocks to 99,096 bales. The Adjusted World Price for the current week stands at 49.78 cents per pound and will be updated on Thursday.
