USDA reported a private export sale of 230,560 metric tons of corn to unknown destinations this morning. Weekly Export Sales data will be released on Thursday morning, with traders expecting 0.6 to 1.1 MMT of 2025/26 corn sales for the week ending February 5. Sales for the 2026/27 marketing year are estimated between 0 and 100,000 MT.
According to the EIA, ethanol production for the week ending February 13 increased by 154,000 barrels per day to 1.11 million barrels per day. Ethanol stocks rose by 111,000 barrels to 25.247 million barrels. However, ethanol exports declined by 79,000 barrels per day to 137,000 bpd, while refiner inputs increased by 50,000 bpd to 841,000 bpd.
