Under Bhavantar Yojana 2.0, the difference between MSP and the model price will be transferred directly to farmers’ accounts within 14 days of crop purchase. The scheme includes all key aspects, such as: Farmer details Market arrivals of crops Buyer details Land size of farmers Crop quality Model price Payment transfer to farmers Online portal to view model prices Secretary Warwade said that this time the system is fully foolproof, making it stronger than Bhavantar Yojana 1.0. If any unusual changes are observed in model prices, the concerned department has the authority to cancel auctions and take action against the culprits. For example, if there are unexplained price gaps in Dewas district, it will be inspected by officials. The government’s aim is to ensure that farmers receive the MSP for their crops.
