The weekly Export Sales report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will be released on Thursday morning. According to a Reuters survey, soybean sales for the week ending February 26 are expected to be between 0.3 and 1 million metric tons. New crop business is estimated at 0 to 100,000 metric tons.
Soybean meal sales for the last week of February are expected to be between 200,000 and 550,000 metric tons, while soybean oil is expected to range from a net reduction of 20,000 metric tons to net sales of 26,000 metric tons.
Statistics Canada will release planting intentions data for 2026 on Thursday. A Reuters survey indicates analysts expect canola acreage to increase to 22.3 million acres, compared to 21.5 million acres in 2025.
