Sale done by FCI in 5 tenders
The Food Corporation of India (FCI) sold 4.95 lakh tons of wheat out of the 5 lakh tons offered in the first five tenders under the Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS). In the tender held last Wednesday, the average sale price of wheat was ₹2,938.5 per quintal, up from ₹2,811.2 per quintal in the fourth tender.
