Russia - Export Duty on Pulses
Russia has set a permanent 5% export duty on pulses for 2025.
This will come into effect starting January 1, 2025, and will apply to crops such as lentils, peas, and chickpeas. 
The duty will be imposed on exports of these pulses outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). 
Previously, in 2024, the export duty was variable ranging between 4% to 7% depending on the ruble exchange rate.
Now, the duty will be fixed at 5% on a permanent basis.
