News Capsule: Kharif Pulses Harvesting Status as on 24 November 2025
★ About 60% of the total pulses area has been harvested, mainly in urdbean (93%), moongbean (99%) and kulthi (52%).
Tur (pigeonpea) harvesting has begun in some areas.
Urdbean
★ 100% harvested in Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.
★ Assam – 10%, Tamil Nadu – 70%, Uttar Pradesh – 90%, and harvesting is ongoing in other regions.
Moongbean
★ 100% harvested in Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Telangana.
★ Odisha – 90%, Uttar Pradesh – 90%, and harvesting is progressing in other regions.
Mothbean
★ 100% harvested in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
