Most Pulses Prices Rose During the Current Week
Tur (Pigeon Pea)
★ In Solapur, tur prices increased by ₹50 from Saturday to Thursday, reaching ₹8,350 per quintal, while in Akola prices were reported around ₹8,100 per quintal.
★ In Mumbai, tur lemon variety rose by ₹150 to ₹8,050 per quintal, while in Chennai prices jumped ₹200 to close at ₹8,050 per quintal. Mozambique-origin tur in Mumbai remained stable at ₹6,700 per quintal.
★ In the international market, Myanmar (Burma) tur lemon increased by $5 to reach $885 per ton.
★ Due to ongoing global conflicts, freight and insurance costs are increasing, and the impact of these higher costs is now beginning to be reflected in market prices.
