Malaysian Palm Oil Outstanding Stocks Decrease

Kuala Lumpur. Data released by the government body, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (AMPOB), shows that crude palm oil production in February 2026 declined by 18.55 percent compared to January, to 1.28 million tons. Consequently, the country's total palm oil outstanding stocks fell by 3.94 percent to 2.704 million tons at the end of February. Consequently, the outstanding stocks of crude palm oil (CPO) declined by 1.167 percent to 1.477 million tons, while the stocks of refined palm oil/palmolein increased by 7.37 percent to 1.227 million tons. Palm kernel oil stocks also fell by 6.80 percent to 3.76 million tons. Malaysia exported only 1.128 million tons of palm oil products in February, a decrease of 22.48 percent compared to January. Palm oil imports increased significantly.
