Price Drop: In 2023, red chili from Khammam sold at ₹22,000 per quintal, but in 2024, the average price dropped to ₹14,000 per quintal.

In Khammam, the sowing area dropped from 1.5 lakh acres in 2023 to 95,000 acres in 2024.
