Various state crop progress reports showed that winter wheat conditions in Kansas (KS) remained stable, with 49% rated as good/excellent (gd/ex) and the Brugler500 index unchanged at 334. In Texas (TX), the rating dropped by 5% to 26% gd/ex, with the Brugler500 index falling by 3 points to 285. The weekly NASS national crop progress report will begin next Monday. Rainfall is expected next week across the Southern Plains and large parts of the SRW regions.
The European Union's (EU) soft wheat exports for this marketing year (which began last July) have reached 15.68 million metric tons (MMT). This is significantly lower than the 24.54 MMT exported during the same period last year.
Ukraine has maintained its wheat export cap at 16.2 MMT for the 2024/25 marketing year (MY), which ends in June. So far, approximately 13 MMT of wheat has already been exported.
