ICE Cotton Futures closed Tuesday’s session positively, with gains ranging from 7 to 55 points across all contracts. External markets had mixed influences, as the U.S. Dollar Index dropped by 1.443, while crude oil prices fell by $1.50 per barrel.
On January 20, The Seam reported 66 bales sold online at an average price of 51.52 cents per pound. ICE Cotton Stocks remained unchanged on Monday, with certified stocks totaling 218 bales.
The Cotlook A Index increased by 80 points on January 20, reaching 78.05 cents per pound. The USDA Adjusted World Price (AWP) dropped by 68 points from the previous week, recorded at 53.98 cents per pound as of Thursday afternoon.
