Gujarat Kharif 2025 Crop Procurement Registration
★ The Gujarat Agriculture Department has announced that registration for the procurement of Kharif crops—urad (black matpe), moong (green gram), groundnut, and soybean—will begin on September 1 and continue until September 15.
★ In the previous Kharif season, a total of 23.47 lakh tonnes of crops were procured. Currently, the market prices of all these crops are trading below the MSP, and the upcoming procurement drive is expected to support prices. If prices do not improve, government procurement may increase further.
★ The Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for Kharif 2025 crops are as follows (₹/quintal):
Groundnut: ₹7,263
Urad: ₹7,800
Moong: ₹8,768
Soybean: ₹5,328
