ICE cotton prices were nearly unchanged on Thursday morning. Futures in the front months rose by 10 to 15 points on Wednesday. Outside markets provided some support as crude oil prices increased by $1.54 to $76.10 per barrel, while the U.S. Dollar Index fell by $0.231 to 98.775.
On March 3, The Seam platform recorded sales of 6,789 bales of cotton at an average price of 62.49 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index declined by 95 points on Tuesday to 74.95 cents. ICE certified cotton stocks remained unchanged at 129,302 bales on March 3. The Adjusted World Price (AWP) was raised by 1.79 cents last week to 51.84 cents per pound.
