ICE cotton futures fell 45 to 60 points in the front months on Tuesday. Crude oil futures were down 59 cents at $62.30 per barrel, while the U.S. Dollar Index rose 0.206 to 97.025.
On February 13, The Seam reported sales of 4,895 bales at an average price of 56.79 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index was steady at 73.85 cents on Monday. ICE certified cotton stocks increased by 3,974 bales to 110,014 bales as of February 13. The Adjusted World Price was set at 49.39 cents per pound, down 39 points from the previous week.
