Cotton Arrivals (Oct-Dec 2024): CAI Report
India's cotton arrivals in the first three months of the 2024-25 season (October-December 2024) totaled 123.80 lakh bales.
Estimated total production for the season is expected around 302 lakh bales, slightly below the government's estimate of 299.26 lakh bales.
Production is projected to decline by 7% compared to the 325.22 lakh bales produced in the 2023-24 season.

Maharashtra: 22.93
Telangana: 31.95
Madhya Pradesh: 9.52
Karnataka: 15.18
Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan: 14.16
Market Outlook:
With lower production and challenges in Bangladesh, a key buyer, the Indian textile industry could see price increases driven by domestic demand.
