BAJRA Production in India: USDA Report Released  
New Delhi: According to the latest report from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), India's bajra production and consumption are expected to see positive growth this year. Compared to the previous year, both cultivated land and production have increased, leading to a rise in total supply.

Cultivated Land: 9.5 million hectares (Previous year: 9.07 million hectares)  
Production: 13.5 million tons (Previous year: 12.84 million tons)  
Total Supply: 14.1 million tons (Previous year: 13.5 million tons)  
Domestic Consumption: 13.5 million tons (Previous year: 12.9 million tons)  
Ending Stock: 0.615 million tons (Previous year: 0.615 million tons)  

What Do These Numbers Indicate?
Cultivated land has increased by 0.43 million hectares, resulting in higher bajra production.  
Total production has reached 13.5 million tons, up from 12.84 million tons last year.  
Domestic consumption has risen to 13.5 million tons, indicating sustained demand for bajra.
