Gram prices continue to fluctuate as buying remains sluggish

Overview:

Gram prices have shown mixed trends with fluctuations, as demand remains limited. Despite rising imports from Australia, sluggish demand for gram flour and dal has put pressure on the prices, leading to fluctuations across various regions.

Delhi:
The prices for gram in Delhi showed fluctuation, ranging between Rs. 6600-6625 per quintal in the Madhya Pradesh line and Rs. 6700-6725 per quintal in the Rajasthan line at the end of the week. These fluctuations are a result of subdued buying by dal millers and reduced demand for gram dal.

Port Prices:
Due to an increase in imported gram availability, Mumbai saw a decline in gram prices. Tanzania gram dropped by Rs. 100, settling at Rs. 6050, while Australian gram decreased by Rs. 125, ending the week at Rs. 6200-6225 per quintal.

  • Jodhpur: Rs. 5400-6050
  • Jaipur: Rs. 6700-6750
