USDA January 2025 Highlights: Corn
No changes in production estimates for South American countries.
Global corn ending stocks projected at 293.3 million tons, down 3.1 million tons from December estimates.
U.S. exported 440,000 tons of corn in the week ending January 2.
Colombia was the largest buyer with 170,000 tons, followed by Japan (91,000 tons) and Mexico (77,000 tons).
