Washington. The weekly report of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) shows that after the sowing process is almost over, the corn and soybean crop is now progressing normally.

So far, the seeds have germinated in 93 percent of the area and have come above the ground, which is a slightly better situation than the same period last year.

Out of the 18 major states of America where corn is produced, the crop rating has improved in five-six states. In some states, the condition of the crop has weakened a bit,

while in the remaining states the crop is growing at a normal pace. In some states, the crop has benefited from the recent rains.

It is worth mentioning that America is the world's largest producer and exporter of corn, while in the production and export of soybean, it has come second after Brazil. Till a few years ago,

it was in the first place. The weather and rain conditions in the Midwest region of America are not completely favorable, so the growth of crops is being hampered at some places, but overall the situation in the corn belt is considered to be good.

There is a tradition of starting the preparation for harvesting of the new crop from September. Before this, the months of July and August will prove to be very important for the maize and soybean crops. USDA is expecting better production of soybean and maize.
